North Shore Medical Center (NSMC) in Salem, Massachusetts, has named Howard Waldman, MD, chief of cardiology, reports The Swampscott Reporter.
He will begin the new position April 1, but Waldman will also continue his role as medical director of the cath lab and percutaneous coronary intervention at the NSMC Heart Center.
Waldman, who has worked at NSMC since 1991, received his PhD from Georgetown University and his MD from the University of Buffalo, and completed his residency at UNC Chapel Hill.
