CMS report finds Theranos blood testing devices often fail to meet company’s standards

A report from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services found that proprietary blood testing devices from Theranos often failed to meet the company’s accuracy standards, the Wall Street Journal reports. 

According to the report, 29 percent of the quality-control checks were outside the range that Theranos considered acceptable.
