LUMEDX debuts new cardiology PACS software version
LUMEDX, a provider of cardiovascular imaging and information systems, has introduced CardioPACS 5.0, the latest version of its cardiology PACS software. 

CardioPACS 5.0 is a next generation, multi-modality, web-enabled PACS, offering new ways to manage images and data with a fully integrated suite of customizable applications, modules and interfaces, the company said.

With CardioPACS 5.0, physicians can view images in real-time from any network-connected PC, according to the Oakland, Calif.-based LUMEDX. The PACS version integrates with other systems (EMR, HIS, clinical or other PACS), supporting purchases and leveraging a facility's current investments.
