Four hospitals meet CMS requirements for carotid artery stenting

One California hospital and three facilities on the East Coast have been approved to perform carotid artery stenting procedures by CMS.

The following facilities were added on Aug. 15 to the CMS registry for carotid artery stenting: Chippenham and Johnston Willis Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia; Glens Falls Hospital in Glens Falls, New York; Memorial Hospital West in Pembroke Pines, Florida; and St. Helena Hospital—Napa Valley in St. Helena, California.
