Maquet launches new endoscopic vessel harvesting system
Maquet Cardiovascular has released its Vasoview Hemopro 2 endoscopic vessel harvesting system, which uses Hemopro cut-and-seal technology to diminish thermal spread, increasing conduit quality during CABG.

The Hemopro 2 provides a clearer tunnel, extends cutting capabilities and provides an insulated area to provide protection during side-branch dissection, said the Wayne, N.J.-based company.

Additionally, Maquet said that the system can be used with its Vasoshield pressure controlling syringe that helps to prevent overdistension during vessel preparation.
