To better use technology to treat congestive heart failure, New York’s Mount Sinai Hospital has plans to use CloudMedx Clinical AI Platform, an artificial intelligence services software, reports Fortune.
The facility plans to use the software to help monitor patients after they leave the hospital to prevent unnecessary readmissions. CloudMedx can store electronic health records, giving improved accessibility for physicians, nurses and administrators.
“We need tools to mine text data to figure out who needs the most proactive care and CloudMedx helps there,” said Ashish Atreja, chief technology innovation and engagement officer for medicine at Mount Sinai’s Icahn School of Medicine.
