Texas health system opens cardiovascular center in response to study

To better serve patients suffering from cardiovascular disorders in the area, Mount Pleasant, Texas-based Titus Regional Medical Center open a Heart and Vascular Center this week.

After a 2015 study came out revealing that patients in the area had to look outside their community for cardiovascular care, the health system hired two new cardiologists and opened the center to address it.

The new center will have McKesson technologies and Siemens photography and imaging. Titus Regional has invested $3-4 million in the new facility so far.
