The Republic of San Marino, which is known among philatelists for its postal offerings, plans to release a stamp April 3 designed to raise awareness of cardiovascular disease. William Zoghbi, MD, immediate past president of the American College of Cardiology explains in the ACC in Touch Blog that the person who spearheaded the effort was his colleague Carlo Dall'Olmo, MD, a Michigan vascular surgeon who has ties with the tiny island.
