What is a better way to learn more about the inner workings of the government regarding healthcare reform than to listen to two insiders! This is definitely the place you want to be on Sunday at noon. I’d suggest arriving early to get a good seat as this is the hottest topic in town.

The first speech will be given by Chris Jennings, a 20-year health policy veteran of the White House, Congress and the private sector. Jennings’ consulting firm provides policy analysis, strategic guidance and coalition building advice to clients who share a commitment to affordable, accessible and accountable healthcare, according to his web site.

The second lecture comes via Rep. Paul D. Ryan, Jr., R-Wis. On Ryan’s web site, he details his “Roadmap 2.0,” which outlines a plan for “health and retirement security, lifts the crushing burden of debt, and boosts jobs and competitiveness in the 21st century global economy.”

A group of distinguished panelists will respond to the lectures and then open it up for audience comments and questions.
