Colorado hospital adds news cardiologist to staff

Cardiologist Stephen Treat, MD, has joined the cardiac clinic at Estes Park Medical Center in Estes, Colorado, reports the Estes Park Trail-Gazette.

Treat joined the rotation of about four cardiologists on July 21. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina and his medical degree from the University of Vermont School of Medicine.

He specializes in general cardiology, cardiomyopathy and coronary artery disease.

"The addition of Dr. Stephen Treat to our Cardiology Clinic adds continued strength to the care of cardiology patients in the Estes Valley,” said Larry Leaming, CEO of Estes Park Medical Center. "EPMC is fortunate to have the caliber of cardiologists that diagnose, treat, and manage cardiovascular conditions for the residents and visitors of our community."
