Beaumont Hospital opens doors of new cardiovascular center
The Ernst Cardiovascular Center, a 4,537 square-foot hub offering clinics for heart valve disease, atrial fibrillation and cardiovascular screening, has opened at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Mich.

The center will offer preventive cardiovascular screening to patients at risk for heart or vascular disease, including offering seven preventive tests for $70 and a “Healthy Heart Check” for students that will cost $25.

The center includes six exam rooms, three consultation rooms with video conferencing capabilities for long-distance consultation and 3D cardiovascular ultrasound equipment.

The Ernst Cardiovascular Center also will house a complex aortic clinic, scheduled to open in 2011.
