Atherotech
Atherotech (Booth 1263) is adding apolipoprotein A (apoAI) to its VAP (Vertical Auto Profile) Cholesterol Test and is introducing several new cardiovascular and metabolic testing panels. The VAP Test is a single cholesterol test that reports apoAI, apoB and the apoB/apoAI ratio, which increases the VAP Test's clinical utility in the assessment of risk for heart disease, diabetes and metabolic syndrome. The new testing panels to be unveiled at the show include C-Reactive Protein (hsCRP), Apo E genotype, NT-proBNP and others for assessment of patients at intermediate to high risk for cardiometabolic diseases.
