Vital debuts Vitrea Enterprise Suite
Vital Images, a provider of advanced visualization and analysis solutions, has introduced Vitrea Enterprise Suite, which combines the company's 2D, 3D and 4D clinical applications and services with a centralized solution for managing volumetric image data across the medical enterprise.

The centralized data management solution, Vital Image Management System (VIMS), delivers access to a single source of imaging data across a medical enterprise. According to Minneapolis-based Vital, the Vitrea Enterprise Suite does not require proprietary hardware. Also, customers can select deployment options to meet the needs of their clinical environments--via Web browser, a standalone workstation, integrated into a PACS, or via an EMR or hospital information management system.
