Spacelabs releases two ECG devices
Spacelabs Healthcare has launched its CardioExpress SL12 and SL6 ECG devices to acquire 12-lead ECG data from cardiac patients.

The ECG devices integrate into Spacelabs' Sentinel, a cardiology information management system that includes a touch screen, a USB barcode scanner and has the ability to store patient data of 200 ECGs, according to the Issaquah, Wash.-based company.

Both of the diagnostic cardiology solutions can be used for adult or pediatric patients and the devices allow facilities to perform emergency cardiac cases, routine checks or home visits, the company said.

According to Spacelabs, the SL12 device supports high-volume environments, while the SL6 is a lightweight version designed to work in any setting.
