British NHS trust chooses Agfa PACS, RIS, cardiology suite
Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Trust has selected Agfa HealthCare to provide PACS, RIS and cardiology solutions.

Agfa said its integrated IT solutions will transform the Trust’s information workflow by enabling a free flow of data between the hospitals, even though the systems will work entirely independently of each other.

Over the next six to eight months, Agfa said it will install Impax PACS, Impax RIS and Impax Cardiovascular Suite, a suite of cardiovascular image and information management solutions, in both Royal Brompton and Harefield hospitals.

Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Trust works from two sites: Royal Brompton Hospital in Chelsea, England and Harefield Hospital near Uxbridge, England. The hospitals serve more than 80,000 outpatients and 26,000 inpatients each year.
