Siemens launches 'cockpit' technologies for interventional suites
Siemens Healthcare has launched its Artis zee Cockpit, a workplace technology for the radiology and cardiology interventional suites that can be used in combination with other angiography systems within the Artis zee portfolio.

According to the company, the technology comes equipped with a 30-inch medical-grade monitor that displays the content of up to six individual monitors and alleviates the need for technicians to switch between various workstations when taking hemodynamic measurements, retrieving reference images, and reconstructing 3D images or evaluating ECG data.

The technologies are available in biplane, multi-axial, ceiling-mounted, floor-mounted or multi-functional configurations to suit variant intervention room designs, said Siemens.
