GE expands into FFR market
GE Healthcare will expand the use of its Mac-Lab XT and XTi hemodynamic recording systems to be compatible with fractional flow reserve (FFR) systems.

According to GE, its Mac-Lab systems will have the ability to be used with St. Jude Medical’s PressureWire Aeris Wireless and Volcano’s SmartMap Pressure solution.

The solutions use FFR methods during PCI to evaluate whether patients' lesions are flow-limiting or not.
