ACR 2015™ informatics and innovations sessions help radiology professionals navigate the new medical landscape

Informatics and innovations sessions at ACR 2015™ can help radiology professionals overcome information technology (IT) challenges and support enterprise imaging initiatives as medicine moves from volume to value-based care. Early bird registration and abstract submission deadlines are approaching for ACR 2015™, the all-new American College of Radiology (ACR) annual meeting, May 1721, 2015, at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington, DC. 

Informatics and Innovations is one of nine Knowledge Pathways at ACR 2015. Key sessions include:

“Some of the world’s best health IT experts will deliver ACR 2015 informatics and innovations content. The sessions provide attendees with skills and information to ease image sharing, support enterprise imaging and demonstrate value as we move toward an Imaging 3.0™ care model,” said Keith Dreyer, DO, PhD, FACR, chair of the ACR Commission on Informatics.

The deadline to submit abstracts for ACR 2015 is Jan. 9, 2015

ACR 2015 abstract submission is open to trainees, young physicians, radiologists, medical physicists, radiation oncologists and other professionals.

Subject categories for ACR 2015 abstracts:

  • Advocacy, Economics and Health Policy
  • Clinical Education
  • Informatics and Innovations
  • Leadership
  • Quality and Safety

Accepted abstracts will be grouped by subject category and displayed in an electronic format (ePoster).

Early-bird registration for ACR 2015™ ends Dec. 31.

ACR 2015 will include an exclusive Capitol Hill experience and more than 100 concurrent and general sessions with renowned speakers and a keynote speech by General Colin L. Powell, USA (Ret.).

Active duty military, including U.S. Public Health Service, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, State Department and Veterans Affairs employees can qualify for additional registration savings.   

Attendees can earn continuing medical education (CME) and self-assessment module (SAM) credits for maintenance of certification.

Register by Dec. 31 for early-bird savings.
